The 2010 California Biennial, curated by Sarah Bancroft, opens at the Orange County Museum of Art on Sunday, October 24, 2010, and will include recent paintings.

A solo exhibition of recent work, mostly of work influenced by travels in Scandinavia in the summer of 2007, opens on January 13 at Galeria Javier Lopez in Madrid and continues through mid-January. Work will also be presented by Javier Lopez at ARCO Madrid, February 17-21, 2010.

Evergreen: Green Paintings, a group show at George Lawson Gallery in San Francisco, includes one painting. Opening reception is Thursday, December 17; the exhibition continues through January 14, 2010.

Begun as a conversation between an artist living in Munich and another in San Francisco, this dialogue has evolved into a show of nine artists: Kasarian Dane, Stephan Fritsch, Brent Hallard, Leonhard Hurzlmeier, Robin McDonnell, Mel Prest, Richard Schur, Nancy White, and John Zurier.

The show first opened in Munich, Germany as TRANS: Abstraktion at Weltraum gallery in November 2007, and traveled to Pharmaka in Los Angeles in March 2009.
